Food & Cancer: Cutting Through the Confusion and Making Changes That Last

What should I eat? Should I avoid sugar? What about meat and dairy? Do supplements help? Does what I eat really make a difference?
If you are living with cancer, have completed treatment, or are supporting someone affected by cancer, you've probably encountered an overwhelming amount of advice about food and nutrition, and much of it can seem contradictory.

Join The Cancer Coach and Miskawaan Integrative Cancer Centre for a free, practical morning exploring what the evidence tells us about food and cancer, where there is still uncertainty, and what this means for the everyday choices we make.

What we'll explore

We'll look at some of the questions people affected by cancer ask most often, including:

Does sugar really “feed” cancer?
Should I stop eating meat?
What about dairy?
Do I need to follow a plant-based diet?
Is alcohol safe after cancer?
Do I need supplements?
How important is maintaining a healthy weight?
What should I eat during cancer treatment?
Can what I eat help reduce my risk of recurrence?
What does healthy eating actually look like in everyday life?

We'll then move from knowing to doing.
Because knowing what might be good for us doesn't necessarily make changing our habits easy.
Through a short practical workshop, we'll help you look at what you're already doing well, identify something you'd like to improve, consider what might get in your way, and create one realistic change to work on over the following 30 days.

Ask the Experts

The morning will finish with an open Q&A, giving you the opportunity to put your own questions to our cancer, medical and nutrition professionals.
Questions can be asked in Thai or English, including anonymously if you prefer.

Who is this for?

This event is particularly suitable for:

People currently undergoing cancer treatment
People who have completed cancer treatment
Family members and caregivers supporting someone affected by cancer
People concerned about reducing their future cancer risk
