Join us next month as we read Remarkably Bright Creatures, Shelby Van Pelt’s warm and quirky novel about loneliness, friendship, family, and the unexpected connections that can change our lives.
After the sudden death of her husband, Tova Sullivan has settled into a quiet routine working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium. There, she forms an unlikely bond with Marcellus, a remarkably intelligent—and very opinionated—giant Pacific octopus. As Tova gets to know Marcellus and several other people in the small coastal town, seemingly unrelated lives begin to intersect in surprising ways.
All are welcome, whether you're a first-timer or joining us again from previous meetings. Come ready to share your thoughts, favorite characters, and theories!
The meeting will be at the Panera Bread location at 1191 E Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL 60563 (near the H Mart and Costco) on Sunday, October 18th from 2:30-4:30pm. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Hope to see you there!
