Al Rabi Trail – Khor Fakkan

We’re kicking off the hiking season with Al Rabi, one of the classic trails above Khor Fakkan.
This is a free community hike — there is no participation fee.
The trail has a steady climb with great views over Khor Fakkan and the Gulf of Oman.
Distance: around 5 km
Time: 2–3 hours
Difficulty: Easy+
Terrain: mountain trail with steady uphill and downhill sections
Group size: maximum 25
This is suitable for beginners with reasonable fitness. You should be comfortable walking for a couple of hours and climbing hills or stairs.

What to bring

At least 2L of water
Hiking shoes or trainers with good grip
Comfortable hiking clothes
Hat and sun protection
Small snack
Trekking poles if you use them

Places are limited to 25 hikers. Once the event is full, Meetup will open a waitlist.
If your plans change, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so someone on the waitlist can take your place.
