[17K] Eberswalde to Biesenthal via Schwärzesee

Start: Eberswalde Hbf (11:05 in front of the station entrance)
End: Biesenthal Markt
Tickets: Deutschland Ticket or EUR 8,10 + EUR 6,30 (or EUR 6 + EUR 3,70 with BahnCard)
Meeting Point: Gesundbrunnen (10:20 in front of Denns)

From Gesundbrunnen we take the RE3 at 10:32. If you can take the RE3 from an earlier station like Südkreuz, Potsdamer, or Hbf, do that! Please don't miss this train as waiting is not really an option.

We'll start walking from Eberswalde and walk towards a really nice lake Schwärzesee (6.5km from start), which may be a bit too cold for a dip, but who knows! Like previous attempts at this hike there may be the option to pick some mushrooms. We won't make it a mushroom hike though! No hours of waiting on collectors ;-)

We'll end in Biesenthal at a very nice coffee place where we can have some cake while we wait for the bus. The bus goes every hour, 33 minutes past the hour which brings us to Bernau.

Bring your swim clothes if you like to dare a dip, bring enough to eat and drink for the way! We may take a short break at the lake where you can eat something already.

The hike is a little bit shorter because around 17:00 it will be dark, and we want to make sure to arrive before we need a headlight 😅
