Governor’s Island Photography Walk

Please join us on what will be an endless photo opportunity on an island that vibes out as a happy place—Governor’s Island! ✨😃📸 You do not need to be a professional photographer. Just someone who enjoys a great walk and appreciates the chance to take in some spectacular views! Along the way, you will discover endless photo opportunities, no matter your level of experience! Meeting Info: Take the 2:30PM Governors Island Ferry ⛴️ from the Battery Maritime Building (10 South Street). You can book the Ferry online or at the BMB (check the Governors Island website for complete information here ). We will gather at the Governors Island Welcome Center that’s straight ahead when you walk off the ferry. Goal is to meet up by 3:00PM. Amenities: bathrooms at BMB bathrooms at the Welcome Center porto potties on the island refillable water stations on the island Features: bird peeping spots throughout the island Outlook Hill—at The Hills Colonels Row Castle Williams Nolan Park What to bring: bug spray sunscreen water & snacks What to know: 📸 Cameras of any kind are allowed 📸 📱 Smartphones are cameras too 📱 Guests need to fill out the waiver here .
