Forest & Photography Morning at Glass House Mountains Lookout

Join us for a relaxed morning of forest and landscape photography at Glass House Mountains Lookout, Beerburrum West State Forest.

📅 Sunday, 1 November 2026
⏰ Meet at 6:45am for a 7:00am start
🚙 Carpool may be available
💵 Donations: $5.00 pp (towards host meetup fee)
Cash or PAYID are accepted.

We’ll explore the short lookout track at an easy pace, stopping to photograph the forest and panoramic Glass House Mountains views. The track is Grade 3 and listed as 800m one way; allow around 45 minutes walking time, plus time for photos.

What to bring:

Camera or phone
Preferred lenses
Spare battery and memory card
Lightweight tripod, if you use one
Enclosed walking shoes with good grip
Water and a snack
Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent

After the session, we’ll take a short drive to Glasshouse Plantation Café for some self purchase coffee, breaky while we connect and share. It’s just 1.7km up the road from the lookout, with Australian-grown coffee, café food and views of the mountains.

Come enjoy a gentle morning outdoors and capture the scenery together. 📷🌿

Regards,
Donna & Greg
