After more than 60 people joined our last Meetup & Drinking event and we received so much positive feedback, we’re bringing it back for Round 2! Details are posted: Instagram Hi everyone! I’m Tai, a Japanese exchange student who just arrived at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I created this group to build a welcoming, fun community for anyone in and around Rotterdam who loves Asian culture, food, language, and making international friends. Who is this event for? Everyone is welcome! You do NOT need to be Asian to join. Locals, expats, students, and travelers living in or visiting Rotterdam. Anyone who loves Asian food, travel, music, anime, or culture. People learning Japanese or interested in language exchange. Anyone looking to expand their social circle and make new friends in NL. What to expect & Highlights: A Cozy Lounge & Terrace Experience: We’ll be gathering at Room Mate Bruno, where we can relax, chat, and enjoy beautiful sunset views over Rotterdam from the terrace. Special MATCHA LATTE €6 : The friendly manager at the venue was kind enough to offer Matcha Latte just for our event—everyone’s favorite Asian drink, which isn't normally available on their menu! Special Food for This Event: At our previous meetup, food was not available and some guests were left hungry. We’re sorry about that. To make up for it, the venue has kindly prepared a limited number of special food trays exclusively for this event: A savory tray with bitterballen, cheese sticks, and onion rings A sweet and refreshing tray with matcha cookies, strawberries, and mango Please note that these trays will be available in limited quantities. Affordable Drinks & Free Snacks: Bar drinks start from just €3, and there will be some free snacks on the tables for us to enjoy. ※You can check the menu photos attached below. Friendly Socializing: Casual conversations, networking, and a warm atmosphere to meet potential travel buddies, language partners, or new friends! Event Rules & Drink Policy: Free Admission! (No participation fee) 1 Drink Minimum: Please order at least one drink (alcoholic, non-alcoholic, or the special Matcha Latte!) at the bar to support the venue.
