Join the Society for Aesthetic Loitering for a summer idle at one of Portland's interesting public spaces. We'll wander the terraces and fountains, admire the architecture, notice the light, admire one another's wonderfully unnecessary outfits, and practice the nearly forgotten art of lingering.

Dress with intention. Vintage, avant-garde, glamorous, thrifted, eccentric, elegant, theatrical—or simply wear something that delights you.

There is no fitness goal. No networking agenda. No pressure to perform. Just pleasant company, slow strolling, conversation, people-watching, and the radical notion that beauty deserves our attention.

Whether you come alone or bring a friend, you'll find kind, curious people who believe life is richer when we occasionally stop trying to optimize it.

Because a beautiful evening should never be rushed.
