Open Jam Session - November Wildcard Jam @ The Aftermath, LKF

Do you love music? Are you a singer or musician looking for a friendly place to play and meet other musicians? Or do you just want to unwind with people who love all things related to music?

The Wildcard Jam is an open jam night hosted by The Wildcards at The Aftermath, a live music bar in Central. If you've never tried a jam session, it's an excellent way to build confidence and creativity in a relaxing and supportive environment. Pick a song, grab the mic or an instrument, and play it your way: feel free to change up songs into different genres or just try out new things . Whether you’ve been playing for years or you’re just starting out, you’re welcome here.

Up to two songs per person
Requests close Sunday 15 November at 11:59 PM
Advance requests take priority. Walk-ins can sign up at the door on the night and are added as time allows.

What to expect

Band-led jamming: Members of The Wildcards run the session, back performers, and make sure everyone who wants a turn gets one. It’s beginner-friendly, so ask us anything.
Instruments provided: Guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and microphones are all set up. You’re welcome to bring your own instrument too.
Instrument rotation: Swap instruments during the night and try something new.
Free jamming: If time allows, we’ll open it up to any other songs you want to play.

No pressure to perform
You don’t have to get on stage. If you love live music and want to see how a jam works (and have a drink with us), that’s reason enough to come.

If you have a set of up to 15 minutes in mind, contact Renée at +852 9435 6535 to book a time slot. To keep the night moving, we may ask performers to rotate instruments or roles.

Entry is free with a drink purchase, so grab something at the bar. It’s what keeps nights like this going. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options are available.
