Hey, how's it going? Theme-Based Potluck: French this Month looks like it should be pretty interesting. Want me to help you organise around it?

This is an event for people who want to learn to cook dishes from around the world! Everyone who signs up for the event, including guests, will bring a different homemade French dish to share with the others. Links to great vegan French recipes can be found at the bottom of this description!

Please bring a vegan dish, with at least 8 servings (=8 big scoops). Vegan means no dairy, eggs, honey, gelatin, whey/casein, or other animal byproducts. Please bring an ingredients list for your dish and include your name and the name of the dish.

Also, please bring a plate, cup, napkin, and cutlery for yourself, and a serving utensil for your dish. (a bag for your dirty dishes would be useful, too).

Confirmed Dish List (more to come):
Jon: Pâté en Croûte (terrine pie)
Nancy: Quiche Lorraine
Norm: Mushroom Bourguignon
Melissa: Crème Brûlée

To ensure that we each bring a different dish, I will be contacting all attendees. If you have a favourite vegan French recipe, we'd love to try it! If you need inspiration, you could try something from one of these websites (beware that not all recipes on these sites are vegan, so check the ingredients):

Parking is free, but as there is construction next door, you may need to park around the corner. Also, your phone will be helpful for directions as construction bins may block the building number. Closest cross-street is Argyle.
