Featuring Gershwin's vibrant Cuban Overture, the captivating melodies from Porgy and Bess, and the ironic sounds of Weill's The Threepenny Opera, the concert sets the stage for an unforgettable afternoon. The highlight is Gershwin's iconic Rhapsody in Blue—an irresistible fusion of classical music and jazz, in which the unique combination of piano and saxophones brings a fresh new dimension to this timeless masterpiece. We ll meet at 11:20 hour at the large entrance of the Van Eeghenstraat close to venue in the Vondelpark and walk to the it from there.
