Horner Park and 312 RiverRun Slow Walk

Horner Park has a beautiful nature trail along the Chicago River which is part of the 312 RiverRun from Montrose to Belmont Ave, car free! This park looks different every time I go, with an ever-changing kaleidescope of native flowers! This a monthly event, on the first Tuesday. We will meet at the Horner Park Field House on Montrose at 11 am. You can get there by the Montrose 78 or the Western 49. We will walk south along the river, crossing the river on the pedestrian/biking Riverview Bridge and continue to Belmont. Then we will loop back to the field house. Wear a sun hat, and bring a water bottle.
