Join us as we search for birds before the park officially opens for the day (it's ok - we'll have park rangers with us!) on this early morning autumn outing along the gorgeous west branch of the Brandywine Creek.
We will cover a bit over a mile along paved, grassy, and gravel surfaces over the course of 2 hours, although you may leave at any time. The terrain getting to and from the creek valley is sloping and moderately steep, and some of the unpaved trail surfaces along the creek are uneven. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Beginning birders and children (accompanied by an adult) are most welcome and encouraged to join us.
Restrooms are available at multiple locations along the route as well as at the park office, where we will meet. This program is co-sponsored by Valley Forge Audubon Society and Chester County Parks + Preservation.
Please note: Registration is requested for this event. To register please visit Catalog - Chester County Parks + Preservation
