A breakup is rarely just the end of a relationship. It can also mean the end of a shared future, familiar routines, a sense of belonging, or even the person we once believed ourselves to be.

Whether we were the ones who walked away or the ones left behind, endings can leave us with grief, anger, regret, guilt and questions that may never be answered.

Some of us hold on. Some withdraw. Some try to move on quickly. Others find themselves returning to the same memories, wondering what could have been different.

But how do we really let go?

When does holding on become a way of hurting ourselves? Can we accept an ending without fully understanding it? And how do we begin to rebuild a life when something we once considered permanent is no longer there?

Just men, honest reflection, and the courage to acknowledge that sometimes, letting go is one of the hardest things we have to do.
