Fire in Ice Festival

Let's start our day with lunch at Wag's Restaurant (24 South Market Street, Fredrick, MD) at 11am. This historic subterranean restaurant has an authentic old school dive bar vibe. Yelp gives it 4.1 stars. Since Wag's does not take reservations, please be on time.

If you want to pass on lunch, but still join us for the festival, meet us at Wag's around 12:30.

Parking: I recommend the Carroll Creek Parking Garage (44 E Patrick St). There is also street parking

Then it's off to see over 100 sculptures that are distributed throughout town and participate in the festival's activities.

This is 2026 schedule but was told 2027 would be similar.

Polar Lounge | 11AM-9PM | 15 E 6th St | grab some food and a drink at this outdoor lounge\, complete with ice bar tops\, ice luges\, an ice curtain perfect for photo ops\, a roaring fire tower\, games and music.
Food Truck Court | 11AM-7PM at the Carroll Creek Amphitheater
Scavenger Hunt | 12-6PM check in at 5 N. Market St to pick up a clue sheet
Marshmallow Roasting Stations | 4- 9PM at Ice Games Center & Polar Lounge
