MOB: The BEAM on the phone

\NEW ROOM\ Captain America, 8th Floor. This month David Bluestein II will introduce Mob, a framework that embeds OTP inside iOS and Android apps. Screens are GenServers with a familiar LiveView-style API. UI is rendered natively through SwiftUI and Compose via a thin NIF layer, or you can drop an entire Phoenix LiveView application into a native WebView. No server is required for core logic, so the app works offline by design. We’ll explore the architecture, the ~MOB sigil, the LiveView integration path, hot code loading over Erlang distribution, and how Mob differs from the deprecated LiveView Native.
