Ian is leading the November Legstretcher.

It will be on Sunday 1st November at 9.30am & it's 18 miles.

Ian says it will be a lovely walk in the Waveney Valley. The route will be a mix of countryside & river side walking, including part of the Angles Way & the through the delightful village of Hoxone along good footpaths & quiet lanes.
Please note that there will be several stiles on route.

Meet & park at the free car park at Harleston recreation ground, Wilderness Lane, nearest postcode: IP20 9DD; Grid ref: TM243 834: waht3words: caused.swim.guru

The walk will start promptly at 9.30am.

Please arrive with plenty of time as the Legstretchers always start promptly on time.

The walk is limited to 25, but please put your name down on the waiting list if it fills.

Please only put your name down if you definitely intend to attend.

Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times.

A MESSAGE FROM GROUP CO-ORDINATORS

Welcome to a Legstretcher walk. We're a friendly & welcoming group. We're keen to recruit anyone who wants to walk longer distances.
The group isn't intended to be overly serious & although our walk leaders are very experienced & highly competent, we want to remain a fun group. We're also keen on inclusion.
Bear in mind that we offer longer walks. You must make sure you bring enough to eat & drink (hydration is important).
Remember 18 miles isn't easy for someone new to walking so make sure you're comfortable walking 17 miles at a good pace (3.5mph ie 7 miles in 2 hours).
You'll need to join Ramblers after you've come on 3 Ramblers' walks.
If you have any questions message us on either [email protected] or [email protected]
