A flat 9 mile circular walk. We initially follow the Thames Path, followed by some lesser-known, water courses. We will see the castle and the heritage quarter of Windsor on Thames.
We end with a stroll down Eton High Street to take in all of the college-
related quirkiness.
Refreshments: Lunch at a garden centre cafe with lots of
outdoor space if the weather is fine. Eton has several tea rooms after the walk.
Travel: Trains to Windsor from Paddington (via Ealing and Slough), and Waterloo ( via Clapham Junc and Richmond).
The 10.03 service from Waterloo arrives at Windsor Riverside station at 10.59.
The Paddington service arrives at Windsor Central station, 5 minutes walk between both stations. Chargeable parking at Windsor.
Start Time/Place: 11.10 prompt at the concourse of Windsor and Eton Riverside station, SL4 1QG
