Come and join to listen to Beethoven's 3rd Symphony and Grace Williams' hauntingly beautiful "Sea Sketches"
Betrayed by Napoleon's thirst for power, Beethoven furiously tore apart his 3rd Symphony's dedication, and in doing so created a work that captured, like no other, the defiant and life-affirming heroic spirit. With its massive size and emotional power, the Eroica Symphony would change the course of Classical music forever.
Our program begins with the Coriolan Overture, Beethoven's electrifying portrait of Shakespeare's doomed warrior followed by Grace William's hauntingly beautiful Sea Sketches, which paint the Welsh coastline in all its wild, shimmering glory.
The event is Free and RSVP's are NOT required but it helps us to know you're planning to come.
Walk-ins are welcome!
Doors open to SFCO Members at 2:00pm for first choice seating, General Admission begins at 2:45pm.
