Modesto Vinyl Vultures: Beginner Crate Digging

If you have been curious about starting a vinyl collection but feel a bit overwhelmed by the stacks at local record shops, this meetup is for you. We are getting together at a local spot in Modesto to talk about the basics of crate digging. Whether you are looking for your first turntable, trying to understand how to grade the condition of a used record, or just want to learn how to spot a good find in the bins, we will cover the fundamentals in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.

This is a space to share our favorite local shops, swap tips on cleaning and storing records, and get to know other beginners in the area. You do not need to bring anything other than your curiosity and any questions you might have about building a library that you will actually enjoy listening to. We want to keep this group approachable, so please come as you are and be ready to chat about the music you love.

If you are free and interested in joining the conversation, please click the RSVP button so we can get an idea of how many people to expect. Hope to see you there.
