Autumn Vocal Workshop: Ya Gotta Have Friends

Verdugo Hills Chorus presents: "Ya Gotta Have Friends," a seven-week vocal workshop! Come stand right in the middle of the harmony... it's way more fun than scrolling your phone! What you'll learn: posture: the basis for all good singing breath control: the fuel for singing phonation: creating the sounds of music resonation: creating good vocal vibes articulation: the words that communicate fundamentals: vowels, diphthongs, and consonants singing with energy and dynamics singing with artistry The workshop begins on Wednesday, September 30th, at 7:00 pm at Verdugo Hills Chorus's rehearsal hall at the Elks Lodge in San Gabriel and includes a performance with the chorus on November 15th. Songs for the workshop include Bill Withers' "Lean on Me"; the Beatles' and Bette Midler's "With a Little Help from My Friends/Ya Gotta Have Friends" medley; and Maroon 5's "Memories"; and more if you're up for it!
