THE GOONIES WINTER PARTY
Goonies Never Say Die!
Treasure • Food • Games • Adventure
Join us for a Goonies-themed winter party with food, drinks, games, and our own Goonies treasure hunt inspired by One-Eyed Willy and the search for his lost treasure. (You may want to bring a flashlight!)
Follow the clues, solve puzzles, find hidden pieces of the map, and see if you can make it to the treasure before the other Goonies do. There will be actual treasure and prizes waiting at the end!
This will be a potluck, so bring something to share. Since The Goonies takes place on the Oregon coast, we're going with a Pacific Northwest and winter comfort-food theme. Bring a favorite appetizer, main dish, side, dessert, or drink.
We'll have The Goonies playing, along with some Goonies-inspired games and activities throughout the evening.
Feel free to dress for the theme—80s clothes, Goonies gear, ugly winter sweaters, flannel, or whatever you feel like wearing.
Please comment with what you're bringing so we can get a good variety of food.
This will be at my house, and I will give my address out to all those who are attending when the time gets closer. There is a limit on attendance.
Hey, you guys! Come hungry and ready for an adventure.
