Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo is a provocative, darkly funny exploration of marriage, isolation, and the human need to connect. The play begins at home with Peter and his wife, Ann, whose seemingly comfortable marriage is shaken by unexpected revelations. It then follows Peter to Central Park, where a chance encounter with the volatile and desperately lonely Jerry changes everything. Together, the two acts form a powerful portrait of people trapped by the lives they’ve created—and what happens when someone rattles the cage.
Featuring one of the most shocking endings in the history of theater.
Mature themes.
