In the 52nd meeting of the book club we will discuss "The House of the Spirits" by Isabel Allende

We will meet in the International English Library (Mecumstrasse 10, 40223 Düsseldorf). Participation is free of charge. Since the team of the Library are helping us to host the event, we will be very grateful if you could make a small donation to them.
To keep things fair and manageable, please read and follow our attendance policy:

7-Day Notice: If you need to cancel, please change your RSVP at least 7 days before the event.
No Shows: Cancelling within that 7-day window without an explanation will be marked as a no show.
Waitlist Rule: If you accumulate 3 no shows in a row, you will automatically be placed on the waitlist for future events, giving priority to members who do show up.

Please keep in mind that there usually is a long waiting list and be kind to the people who have to read the book last-minute if you cancel less than a week before the event.
