🍻 Campbell Oktoberfest 🇩🇪🎉

Prost! 🍺 It’s time to celebrate 31 years of Oktoberfest in Campbell! Come join us for an afternoon/evening of German beer, great food, live music, dancing, and plenty of good company as we celebrate this long-running Campbell tradition. Whether you’re a longtime Oktoberfest regular or this is your first time, come ready to relax, mingle, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Lederhosen and dirndls are encouraged, but definitely not required! 🍺 What to Expect German-style beer and plenty of other drink options Bratwurst, pretzels, and other Oktoberfest favorites Live music and entertainment A lively festival atmosphere Plenty of opportunities to meet and hang out with fellow Meetup members 👋 The Meetup This is a come-and-go social event, so don't worry if you can't stay the entire time. We'll meet up, grab some food and drinks, wander around the festival, and enjoy the festivities together. Bring your friends, bring your appetite, and bring your best Prost! 🍻 30 years of Oktoberfest is worth celebrating — let's raise a stein to Campbell! 🇩🇪🍺 The Stein Holding Contest This is, in my opinion, the highlight of the event. Held on both Saturday and Sunday of the festival. Watch men and women futility try to hold a 1L stein filled with beer at shoulder level, arm straight. Held in the Biersch Garten at 3pm both days of the festival, thirty men and thirty women compete in separate contests. Judged by Dan Gordon, winners receive a glass boot stein. Sign up to participate is currently closed. However, Ten spots for men and ten spots for women are available for pre-purchase each day. Check it out. Transportation and Parking Public transportation is a great way to get to and from the festival. The light rail (VTA) drops you off directly in Campbell on Railway Ave and Orchard Dr, from here it's a two minute walk to the festivities. From my experience, living in Campbell and going to Oktoberfest, I would highly recommend taking public transportation, or.... park in the Pruneyard and take the free Corinthian shuttle to the festival on Orchard City Drive. Shuttle service begins at 9:30am both days with 30 minute breaks at 12pm and 3:30pm. Last shuttle at 6:30pm Saturday and 5:30pm Sunday.
