🌱 Join us for a friendly vegan food get-together! 🌽 THIS MONTH'S THEME: Mooncake and Tsukimi Dango in the spirit of both Taiwan's and Japan's Mid-Autumn Festival 100% plant-based & all you can eat! The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of Taiwan's three major festivals, along with the Lunar New Year and the Dragon Boat Festival. It is a national holiday celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month (September 25, Friday, in 2026). It is considered the day of the "harvest moon," when the moon shines most beautifully of the year, and families gather at their parents' homes for grand celebrations. In Taiwan, people celebrate by having an outdoor barbecue, which is a standard cultural practice, and by eating round mooncakes, which symbolize completeness and family reunion. In Japan, people offer tsukimi dango — dumplings modeled after the full moon — to pray for health and happiness. 🥦 This event is a chance for people who care about animals and the planet to get together and make like-minded friends in Osaka — all while enjoying amazing cruelty-free food. Whether you're a seasoned vegan or just starting your plant-based journey, you're very welcome.
