Join us for our last biking event of 2026 as we return to a CAC favorite: The Yough River Trail from Boston to Sutersville! This ten-mile local segment of the Great Allegheny Passage will take us from the Boston Bridge to Sutersville and back, completing an almost 21-mile round trip along the Youghiogheny’s meandering path.
Enjoy the familiar backyard views of idyllic riverbank settlements while taking in the beauty of surrounding fall foliage. We will stop for ice cream treats or snacks at Paisano’s convenience store located at Sutersville, our
destination and turnaround point, before heading back toward Boston.
After the ride, we will visit a local dining spot for a leisurely lunch/dinner.
BIKE RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE on this ride! The Little Boston Inn Bicycle Shop (412-326-9862), located near the Boston Bridge trail access, offers cruising and trail bikes for $10 per hour. Our gathering place will be the parking lot at the trail access under the bridge, near the Little Boston Inn (address above).
Reservations for this event are not necessary, but inquiries can be made to Ivan Domitrovic by calling or texting 865-278-8679 (mobile) or 412-244-1067 (home), or email [email protected].
Challenge rating: Easy.
\ NOTE: There WILL be more people in attendance than have RSVP'd on Meetup \
