Free Afternoon concert with Janin + Grace Barbe @ Freo Arts Centre

Spend a sunny afternoon listening to live music and chatting to friends! Dancing is optional.

Janin, is new to me but described as a multi-instrumentalist and genre fluid artist from Whakatane, New Zealand, Jinan takes inspiration from dub / reggae and neo soul grooves and builds on a foundation of blues, conscious lyrics and soothing vocals.

Grace Barbe is a regular on the Perth music scene, with roots in the tiny Indian Ocean nation of Seychelles, home to a unique culture that fuses Africa, Europe and Asia, she is a singer, songwriter and musician whose music, like her mixed heritage, reflects and celebrates the diverse influences of her Creole culture.

I'll try and grab some space with my picnic blanket near to where they allow chairs so we can sit together, Bring a picnic and join us for a relaxed afternoon. There is a Bar (No BYO Alcohol) and usually a food stall if that works better for you.
