Meet Alexander Franco — Art Alive with Color and Emotion
Born in Palmira, Colombia, Alexander Franco discovered painting at five, sold his first painting at six, and earned his first art award at eight. Over more than 37 years, he has developed a distinctive style of bold colors, flowing lines, and expressive acrylic compositions.
His artistic journey took him to Manhattan, where personal loss and the city’s energy inspired a deeper exploration of abstraction. Drawing on love, nature, and human connection, Alexander creates paintings that invite viewers to pause, feel, and discover their own meaning.
His artwork is collected in more than 50 countries. He also donates 10% of his profits to support the elderly, honoring the generations who helped shape his journey.

Don Lewis, director, co-composer, and co-writer of NEW YORK IN CHAINS, will present a 35-minute musical film packed with history, humor, and original songs to lift your spirits and get your toes tapping.
Is this the pill NYC needs today—or a dose of comic controversy? Expect surprising ideas, a few shocks, and plenty to talk about.
After the screening, join the discussion: Is AI filmmaking and songwriting good or bad for creators? Does it open doors to new voices—or threaten artists’ livelihoods? We’ll explore creativity, ownership, and the future of entertainment.
Come for the music. Stay for the debate!
