AI won't love your clients, but you can: The power of human connection in WordPress business

Everyone seems to be talking about AI these days, especially in the WordPress community. We're discovering amazing ways to work faster and smarter, but I sometimes wonder if we're paying enough attention to the people we're actually doing all this work for: our clients.

Ten years ago, I gave a talk at WordCamp Netherlands and WordCamp Geneva called "Long Live the Customer: how to get more out of your WordPress clients!". Looking back at that presentation, I realised that almost everything I talked about back then still applies today, perhaps even more so.

I'd love to revisit some of those ideas with you and explore how we can use our very human qualities to build stronger relationships with our clients. Because there's so much more to running a successful WordPress business than building great websites.

And rather than having you sit and listen to me for 40 minutes, I'd like us to get creative together. We'll do a practical exercise where we come up with ways to surprise our clients, make them smile and give them a few good reasons to keep working with us.

I promise you won't need to write a single prompt!
