Friendly reminder
This group is for vegans, or those who are interested in learning about veganism and/or going vegan. The goal of this group is to build a community of vegans who meet up mostly in the NW suburbs.

Another morning hike, followed by sweet or savory treats! Join us for one or both activities. 🙂

Hike (easy) & meeting location
We'll have a leisurely walk at Caldwell Woods in Chicago. We'll follow the trail north for about 40 min, and then walk back to the parking lot.

Meeting time
Meeting time is 9:00am. We'll wait till 9:10am, and then we'll start walking. If you get there after 9:10am, you might still be able to catch up with the group. Feel free to comment and maybe someone in the group can let you know where/how far we are.

Brunch
After the walk (at approximately 10:30am) we'll meet at October Cafe, located at 6046 N Avondale Ave, Chicago, IL 60631. It's about a 5-minute drive to the bakery & cafe from the hike. This is NOT a 100% vegan place, but the majority of the menu is vegan. If you aren't vegan, please order vegan to be considerate to those who are and to respect the mission of the group.
