Moderate Hike
Distance 6.5 miles, elevation gain 670 ft
Let’s start at the historic Cooper Gristmill and take a lollipop loop along the beautiful Black River, up the hill and around to Kay’s Environmental Center where we’ll stop for our trail lunch. We’ll then head through the woods back to the mill. Afterwards, those who need some soup or second lunch can walk across the road to the Old Mill Tavern.
Boots are recommended as well as plenty of water and your trail food. Friendly dogs are welcome.
