Looking for a way to get some light exercise, meet new people, and have interesting conversations without sitting around a table for two hours?
Walk & Talk is a casual, active meetup where we pair up, walk together, and explore a different big question each month.
We'll meet outside Barnes & Noble, pair up with another attendee, and use a step counter on one person's phone or smartwatch. Every 1,000 steps = one question to discuss.
The questions might be philosophical, silly, personal, social, cultural, or just something that gets you thinking. The goal is to have a good conversation and get to know the person you're walking with. Don't worry about having the "right" answer!

After each 1,000 steps, we'll switch questions and, when possible, switch walking partners so everyone has a chance to meet different people.
No fitness level required! This isn't a race or a workout. Walk at a comfortable pace, take breaks when needed, and come ready to chat.

October Topic: Change, Comfort & Reinvention

All about change, nostalgia, identity, and trying new things.

1. What is something you've changed your mind about in the last few years?
2. Do you think people can truly reinvent themselves, or do we mostly become more of who we've always been?
3. What is something you used to love that you have completely outgrown?
4. If you could instantly become really good at one new skill, what would you choose?
5. What is one change in your life that turned out better than you expected?

We'll come back together for a final stretch of walking (and head back to Barns & Noble) and a chance to share a favorite thought, surprising answer, or funny moment from the conversations.

Wrap up, exchange contact information if you'd like, and optionally stick around to hydrate before heading out.

The exact walking route and number of questions may vary depending on the group size, and pace.
