I love me some John Turturro - and apparently, so do the critics! With a 97% rating for this film where he plays Harry Lehman, an aging pickpocket who plies his trade with ever-diminishing returns in a drastically changed New York. Giancarlo Esposito, Will Price, Tatiana Maslany and Steve Buscemi join Turturro in this acclaimed film.

The Q&A with John Turturro should be fascinating!

DISCUSSION: TBD

SYNOPSIS: John Turturro makes a moving and triumphant return as a leading man in THE ONLY LIVING PICKPOCKET IN NEW YORK, Noah Segan’s homage to the ever-fading life on the margins of New York City. Harry (Turturro) takes care of his wife the best way he knows how—lifting watches and wallets from unsuspecting riders on the New York City subway system. But when Harry steals from the wrong person, he sets in motion a series of events that will transform his life and expose the changing landscape of New York’s network of aging hustlers. THE ONLY LIVING PICKPOCKET IN NEW YORK shows us a city transformed and is an elegy for those who exist both in its romanticized past and its unforgiving present.
Q&A with Actor John Turturro follows the screening.
