Salinas Vinyl Hunting 101 for Beginners

If you have ever walked into a record shop and felt overwhelmed by the endless crates of dusty sleeves, this meetup is for you. We are getting together in Salinas to demystify the process of vinyl digging. Whether you just bought your first turntable or are looking to start a collection, we will cover the basics of how to flip through records effectively, what to look for when checking the condition of a disc, and how to spot those hidden gems that are actually worth taking home.

This event is meant to be a relaxed, low-pressure way to learn the ropes and meet other local music fans. You do not need to bring anything other than a bit of curiosity and perhaps a list of artists you are interested in exploring. We will spend the time sharing tips and looking through local inventory together, so it is a great chance to ask questions you might have been too shy to ask at a busy store. If you are interested in joining us, please click the button to RSVP so I can get a sense of how many people to expect.
