LIVE in October: Metallica & Tool Cover Bands at Billy Blues

Join me on Friday night on the 23rd day of Rocktober to watch the Metallica coverband Battery Inc. and Tool coverband Parabola at Billy Blues. I haven't seen Battery Inc yet, but based on the short snippets I've seen online, they look really good. And besides they're playing Metallica for godsakes. There is no such thing as bad Metallica, just like there is no such thing as bad sex! However, I have seen Parabola and these guys ROCK! The drummer is really good and the lead singer not only sounds like Maynard James Keenan, but he even kinda looks like him too. Maybe an alter-ego thing I don't know, but whatever works. The action doesn't start until 8, but I set the meetup time for 7:00 to get there early enough to grab a few tables, and bs for a while before the music starts. The music starts at 8:00pm and goes until 11:30pm. That's three and a half hours of non-stop rockin', head-banging, mosh-pit slamming, crowd surfing carnage! It's gonna be awesome! And there is only a $15 cover charge per person to see all this awesomeness. So come join me to watch two local bands perform the music of two Rock/Metal legends on Friday October 23 at Billy Blues in Hazel Dell. BE THERE!!!!!
