Let's paint on Granville Island!

Introduction Let's paint in the evening during these long days of summer. Granville Island offers great views of the harbour with the Granville St Bridge above, the market and other buildings, the shipyard, houseboats, ponds, playgrounds and trees, etc. Where to meet Let’s meet at 5:00 pm. Go to the outdoor eating area of the Granville Island Public Market. We'll meet at the covered table area. (See photos.) It's forecast to rain earlier on Sunday, but it should be letting up before 5 pm. The weather is forecast to have a high of 20° between 4-6 pm. Note: The market closes at 7 pm during the summer. What we do We meet 5 pm, then go our own way to paint and come together again at 8 pm at the meeting point to share our work. The sun sets just before 9 pm, but it should be light out for another hour or two afterwards. If you happen to arrive late, just join any of us or meet us at the end. All levels of experience are welcome. Dress for the weather as it may be chilly by the water. Bring any art medium you prefer, and a folding chair or stool for your convenience.
