We're back at the Hippo Campus for our next event, which features two great talks! Designing for Everyone: Strategies for Winning Over Accessibility Skeptics Laura Northedge will share her experience designing accessible UX journeys, how to navigate the approval process, and what it takes to bring stakeholders on board. Expect practical examples and honest insights from across her career. Beyond components: building accessible experiences Accessible components are the foundation of accessible products, but organisations often overestimate what a ‘fully accessible component library’ can achieve. Using practical examples, Martin Underhill shows how patterns, together with organisational systems built around culture, workflows, and accountability, can turn these building blocks into accessible experiences. Agenda: 18:30 - Welcome 18:40 - Designing for Everyone: Strategies for Winning Over Accessibility Skeptics 19:25 - Pizza Break 19:45 - Beyond components: building accessible experiences 20:30 - Close and networking Access needs/Dietary Requirements If you have any access needs or dietary requirements, please reach out to us. The venue is in an old building that doesn't have level access, but it does have a lift.
