Let’s Hike Myakka SP!

Linda is leading a 5-mile hike from Fox’s High Rd trailhead. Please be at the trailhead at 9:45 so we can start on time.

Use the Clark Rd (south) entrance. It is $6 per car to enter the park. Alternatively, you may park at the north entrance and walk into the park. The trailhead is about 0.3 miles from the north gate.

Bring everything you need to make your hike comfortable. I’m a long sleeves and pants person to protect from sun, insects, and plants. Water is paramount, and snacks are always a good idea. Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, bug spray, perhaps something to sit on when we rest.

This is a social event! Please allow enough time to enjoy yourself.
