Croxley Green to Rickmansworth circular walk

This walk has many quirky little things to see, so do join us if you’d like to experience them.

We leave @ 10:30am prompt from the Artichoke pub, WD3 3HN. Please ensure you are ready to leave 10 mins before the departure time 🚙

To start we head south and cross the Watford/Rickmansworth road, then take a quiet bridle path to the Grand Union Canal. 🛶 We saunter along for a bit and then head West to Rickmansworth where we do a round robin to Batchworth and Bury Lake 💦 From there the route takes us through Rickmansworth town centre, over a railway 🚃 and a road bridge 🌉 to pick up the Chess valley walk ♟️ After an approximate mile we cross the river Chess via a footbridge and then traverse back uphill to the Artichoke pub🍺☕️🍟

Approximately 6 miles and will take roughly 2.5-3 hrs.
