Lite Up the Village in Lake George is on Saturday, November 28, 2026, starting at 3:00 PM. This is the confirmed date and schedule for this year’s event.

⭐ 3:00 PM — Block Party Begins

Canada Street and Beach Road turn into a festive street party with:

Live holiday music
Carriage rides
Bounce houses
Food & craft vendors
Family activities

⭐ 6:25 PM — The Big Light-Up Moment

More than 7,000 holiday lights across the Village switch on all at once — Shepard Park, Beach Road, Canada Street, and Festival Commons glow together.

⭐ 6:30 PM — Fireworks Over the Lake

A full fireworks show launches from the lakefront right after the lighting.

⭐ 6:40 PM — Parade of Holiday Lights

A lighted fire truck parade rolls down Canada Street, escorting Santa & Mrs. Claus to the Lake George Volunteer Fire Department for a meet‑and‑greet.

⭐ Until 8:00 PM — Ongoing Festivities

The block party continues with music, vendors, and holiday activities at Shepard Park and Festival Commons.

📍 Where Everything Happens

Tentative event weather permitting. Dress extra warm, hats gloves, layers, we will be walking insulated boots. We could meet at the Garrison for a late lunch early dinner if there is interest.
We could otherwise meet in front of the wooden canoe with the Indians on beach rd. Bring camera of your choice , this is a great opportunity for a variety of photography interest. Also nice to visit before the Holiday
