Join us for one of the most spectacular evening walks in the Netherlands! 🌙✨ The Fjoertoer Egmond transforms the area around Egmond aan Zee, Egmond-Binnen, Egmond aan den Hoef and Heiloo into a magical world of light art, music, performances and surprises. As darkness falls, we will walk through the beautiful surroundings and enjoy a unique combination of walking, lights, entertainment and atmosphere. 📅 Date & Time Saturday, November 28, 2026 Meeting time: 15:45 📍 Meeting point: Hotel Zuiderduin, Egmond aan Zee We will meet before the start and get ready for the evening adventure together. 🚶 Choose Your Distance I have registered for the 20 km route, but you are welcome to choose whichever distance suits you best. Available distances are: 🔥 20 km — Full Fjoertoer Experience ✨ 16 km — Fjoertoer Experience 🌟 12 km 👨‍👩‍👧 6 km — Family Fjoertoer The 20 km route offers the Full Fjoertoer Experience, with more than 50 light artworks and special performances along the way. The shorter routes have fewer acts, but still offer plenty of light, entertainment and atmosphere. Please choose the distance that best matches your own fitness level and preferences. 🌌 What to Expect This is much more than an ordinary walking event! Along the route, you can expect: ✨ Spectacular light installations 🎭 Special performances and acts 🎶 Music and entertainment 🔥 Atmospheric illuminated routes 🌲 Walking through Egmond and the surrounding area 🏖️ A spectacular final section along the beach The final kilometres of the 20 km route take you towards the beach, with several acts along the way before the finish in Egmond aan Zee. There are also several stamp and refreshment points along the routes, offering drinks, snacks, seating, toilets and medical facilities. 🎟️ Registration — Please Read Before RSVP You must register for the Fjoertoer Egmond separately and purchase your own starting ticket before signing up for this Meetup. The event is very popular and regularly sells out early. The organisers have already announced that the event is expected to sell out, so please register as soon as possible if you would like to join us. Current regular registration prices are: 20 km — €34 16 km — €32 12 km — €30 6 km Family Fjoertoer — €18 The registration fee includes, among other things, a Fjoertoer LED cap, route markings, refreshments at the support points and a commemorative medal/pin. Please only sign up for this Meetup after you have secured your Fjoertoer ticket. 👟 Walking & Practical Information Please be prepared for an evening of walking, including some unpaved paths and a section on the beach. Comfortable walking shoes and warm, weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended. 🌬️🥾 The finish for all distances is in Egmond aan Zee, between approximately 19:00 and 23:00. 🚆 Getting There The event organisers provide information about public transport and shuttle connections to Egmond. If you are travelling by car, please allow extra time because the area can become very busy during the event. Transportation to and from Egmond is not arranged by the Meetup organizer. Please make your own transportation arrangements. 🌟 Let's Enjoy the Fjoertoer Together! Whether you choose 12, 16 or 20 km, the idea is to enjoy this unique evening at your own pace. I will be doing the 20 km route, but everyone is welcome to choose the distance that feels right for them.
