Join us for a 7 mile easy-paced walk along Shoal Creek and thru the Rosedale and Oakmont neighborhoods. We will pass thru the ancestral and unceded homelands of indigenous peoples such as Coahuiltecans, Tonkawa, Comanche, and others, as well as the site of the Seiders Springs Massacre. We'll take a short break at Pease Park with water and restrooms, and have a short group discussion toward the end. It's possible to depart from the group and make a shorter route on your own if desired.

Afterwards we often gather for lunch.

Participants must sign a Liability Waiver at the trailhead. You may view the waiver document: https://tinyurl.com/SCSignUpSheet2020 .

If not already a member, we encourage you to join the Sierra Club (the national club, not just the Meetup group) and help protect the environment and our democracy.
