⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ movie: The Christophers

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 'Terrifically exhilarating and funny, as bracing as a large vodka and tonic before lunch: fast, literate and funny...' - Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

'... a sharp dark comedy centered on an aging, reclusive London painter, played by Ian McKellen, whose greedy children (James Corden and Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer)) are desperate for a massive payday.' - Foccal summary

Advisable to buy your £5 ticket in advance via: https://public.foccal.com/event/546 as Friday film nights at Clifton Library sometimes sell out.

Doors and the bar open at 6.30 pm and the film starts promptly at 7.00 pm.

Parking in Clifton Village is difficult but, after 5.00 pm, there is free parking nearby in Worcester Road and most of College Road. Bus options on the TravelWest website. Bicycle stands in front of the library.

Meet by the Meetup sign on top of the bookcase just beyond the bar. I'll reserve seats for BBE Meetup members who've bought their own tickets in advance.

After the film, maybe join us for a chat about it in the pub next door.

Foccal is a group of volunteers which organises excellent free and paid for events to help keep the library open - forthcoming events: https://public.foccal.com/eventlist
