ESG, Ethical, and 'Values' Investing

Investing is first and foremost a financial issue: put money in, expect money to grow over time. But what if we want to feel good about how our money grows? What if we want to invest in the right things? ESG - Environment, Social and Governance - Investing is the latest way to invest in one's beliefs. What goes into ESG, what were past forms of 'ethical' investing, and what are the trade-offs? For the first event of year two of Finance Valencia, we'll be talking about investing in your values in all its forms, what that might mean for the value of your portfolio over the years, and how it might or might not help you sleep well at night.
