🍂🍁🌙🍁🍂
Join us outdoors as we gather to mark Samhain and the turning of the season.
As the days grow shorter and the natural world moves toward dormancy, Samhain offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and consider what this seasonal transition means to us personally. Rather than focusing on a particular tradition or practice, we’ll spend time in conversation exploring themes of change, release, remembrance, rest, and the things we carry forward into the darker half of the year.
We’ll gather in a circle and have a relaxed, open discussion about what the changing season brings up for each of us. You don’t need to have a particular Samhain practice or spiritual tradition to participate—come as you are, and share as much or as little as feels right.
We’ll also take some time for a simple, nature-based ritual. Together we’ll create a temporary natural altar or seasonal arrangement using what we find around us. Everyone will have the opportunity to contribute a natural object as a symbol of something they wish to honor, remember, release, or carry with them into the coming season.
This will be a casual gathering with plenty of room for conversation, reflection, and simply being outdoors together.
What to bring:
A chair or something comfortable to sit on
Water and anything else you may need to be comfortable outdoors
Optional: a small natural object that has personal meaning to you
We’ll keep the ritual simple, respectful of the park, and leave no trace when we’re finished.
Weather note: This gathering is intentionally planned as an outdoor meeting. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and cancel if conditions aren’t suitable for being outside. Please check for an update before heading out if the weather looks questionable.
Come spend a little time at the threshold of the season with us. 🍂
