AI is everywhere. Is it helping your business yet?
Some business owners haven't started with AI and aren't sure where to begin. Others have the subscriptions, ran a pilot, and still can't point to anything that changed. This talk is aimed at helping both of those audiences.

In this session, Joe Comly explores why AI is fundamentally different from traditional software implementation, how to avoid common adoption traps, and what it takes to build an AI strategy that creates lasting business value.

Attendees will leave with a practical framework for moving beyond experimentation and toward AI becoming a true operational capability.

Your speaker is Joe Comly, Founder of J. Byron Operating Partners, where he helps founder-led and growth-stage businesses apply AI to real operating challenges. He has more than 20 years leading strategy, operations, and business transformation, including executive leadership roles at IKEA and a term as President of a multi-location healthcare company. He brings an operator's perspective to AI adoption, focused on helping organizations move beyond isolated experiments and build practical, sustainable capabilities that improve performance and prepare them for the future.

Joe will walk through:

Why AI adoption behaves nothing like a traditional software implementation
The adoption traps that make a company look busy without making it better
A practical framework for moving from scattered experiments to an operational capability
