Agenda

Jeremy Barrow (Peeriot)

From Curiosity to Capability: Build Your Own Device Swarm
In this session, Jeremy will explain how Myrmic allows developers to run application logic across heterogeneous edge and embedded devices while providing execution, messaging, state handling, and placement. The participants will use Myrmic along with ESP32 boards equipped with touchpads to build their own interactive swarm of connected devices. This demo explores how simple hardware can work together to create shared experiences, from customized programs and interactive games to collaborative experiments.

Jeremy Barrow is a Senior Software Engineer at Peeriot, specializing in Rust and distributed systems.

17:00 – 17:10: Introduction and Welcome
17:10 – 18:00: Myrmic Demo and Q&A
