The Pale Hunger - a Dread Halloween One Shot

Lately, the woods around Grimswold have been besieged by a monster. Something is lurking in the dark and it is picking off humans one by one. No one has survived long enough to get a clear look at it and tell the tale ... and now even the wall surrounding the town is not enough to protect its inhabitants any longer.

You are the brave souls that have volunteered to put an end to its reign of terror.

We will be playing a session of Dread, an atmospheric horror rpg. There are absolutely no dice rolls - your actions are entirely determined by the pull of blocks from a Jenga tower. As the story progresses, the tower will become more and more unstable.
Once it falls, your character dies. Are you up for the challenge?

This is a one shot written by yours truly for some spooky Halloween fun. Beginners absolutely welcome! No need to bring anything or know about any mechanics.
