Smack My Pitch Up! Startup pitch practice

Pitch practice is on again!

We're giving you, the upcoming new startups of Perth, a chance to practice your pitch in front of the non-intimidating and supportive Morning Startup audience.

In this session, we have seven brave founders stepping onto the Morning Startup stage. They are:

BeingNex (Dr Gerhard Potgieter)
The AI platform that plans, staffs and delivers your project. beingnex.com
BucketLyst (Trinh Truong)
Build your Lyst. Celebrate with Purpose. bucketlyst.com.au
FMSG (Mark Mennel)
Messaging for the AI era. fmsg.ai
HouseKitty (Linda Rooney)
A cashflow management app for everyone. housekitty.com.au
MeanCanvas (Josh Q)
Your cyber security plan in 30 minutes, not 30 days. meancanvas.com
Syncra Health (Ozichukwu Egesi)
Clinical workflow and patient-communication platform.
WingSpanAi (Craig Peters)
The smart operating layer for medical and allied-health practices. wingspanai.com.au

The plan
Each startup will get exactly three minutes to pitch (they'll be clapped out at the three minute mark), followed by a couple of minutes of questions and feedback from the audience.

The audience will also be armed with Morning Startup's pitch feedback app where they'll rate your pitch on:

The problem: How clearly was it articulated?
The solution: How clearly was it shown?
The pitch overall: How effective was it?

They audience can also leave anonymous comments on each pitch which will be shared privately with the founders after the event.

The startups are not pitching to investors (although we can't guarantee there won't be any in the room) and they're not pitching to 'win' anything.

The idea is to get practice standing in front of people communicating their startup idea as succinctly as possible, and getting useful, constructive feedback so they improve the next one!
